Aspen Skiing Company Announces Holiday Season ScheduleDecember 13, 2004 - 12:11 PM
THE LITTLE NELL The Little Nell offers charm, sophistication and a good time year-round, but watch it glow during the holidays. Head to Montagna or The Bar for après ski daily and enjoy the raw bar with fresh oysters, seafood and sushi or gruyere cheese fondue. You cannot go wrong with the famous Montagna Martini - a combination of apple vodka, elderberry syrup and champagne, served in a sugar rimmed martini glass with a strawberry garnish. Christmas Dinner – Dec. 24 & 25, Three seatings at 4:00, 6:15 and 8:30 Offering a full a la carte menu on Christmas Eve and full menu. On Christmas Day a prix fixe menu is offered for $97 per person. New Year’s Eve Dining – Dec. 31, seatings at 6:30 for $185 per person and 9:30 for $255 per person The party room will be decked out with over 1,500 balloons and party favors. Guests at the second seating will be welcomed with a champagne toast and are invited to the Main Bar for dancing after dinner. The Scott Martin Band will be playing jazz, pop and dance music from 9:30 pm -12:30 am in The Bar. The cover charge will be $20 per person for guests who did not join for dinner. SNOWMASS VILLAGE MALL FESTIVITIES Festival of Lights - Dec. 7, Sundown Come celebrate the festival of lights with the Silvertree Hotel, Wildwood Lodge Village Property management. The menorah will be displayed in the Silvertree Hotel lobby with plenty of dreidels and gelt for everyone to enjoy. The North Pole in Snowmass – Dec. 8-24, 3-5:00 pm daily The North Pole comes to Snowmass when Santa’s magical village opens in front of the Old Tower building. Santa will be waiting to hear the last minute requests of good girls and boys. Free photos are taken as well. Tree Lighting Ceremony – Dec. 11, 4:30 p.m. Open House and Tree Lighting Ceremony at Silvertree Hotel. Join the Silvertree for its annual free open house holiday fete in front of the brilliant 17-foot Christmas tree in the lobby. Special guest Santa Claus will have candy canes for all the children and a buffet, hors d’oeuvres and a special sampling of the new Blue Door menu will keep revelers in the spirit. Anderson Ranch Holiday Open House – Dec. 16, 5-7 p.m. Anderson Ranch hosts a Holiday Open House featuring an exhibition of artwork by Ranch residents, a candlelit walk, open studios, and plenty of holiday cheer. Welcomed with cheerful lights and festive goodies, guests are invited to follow paths lit by more than 300 luminaries leading to each of the artists’ studios. Guests will have the opportunity to personally meet the artists and discuss their work. Dickens Carolers - Dec. 21–24 The Snowmass Village mall hosts the Dickens Carolers, free cookies and cider, and, of course, a visit from Santa himself with his reindeer right by the “Big Chair” on the village mall. Torchlight Parade - Dec. 23, 5pm Join the torchlight parade down Fanny Hill where moms, dads, and kids eight years and older are invited to be a part of the trail of light from the top of the Blue Grouse Run. Christmas Dinner - Dec. 25 A traditional Christmas dinner is served, buffet-style with all the trimmings, in the Brothers’ Grille. Ring in the New Year in Snowmass - Dec. 31, 7pm-1am Snowmass will throw the annual New Year’s Eve Gala in the beautiful Cabaret Room in the Silvertree Hotel. The children’s party goes on during the same time for parents attending the Gala.
