Vail Ski Resort Delays Opening

Vail Resorts is delaying its official opening until Wed, Nov. 21 due to the lack of snow. If you're looking for something to do, here's the latest from VailPM:
"All the OPENING DAY PARTIES ARE STILL ON ! Come drown your sorrows with us Friday at Garfinkels from 3-6 for the Apres Hour show Launch Party with tons of free giveaways, Samana @ 9pm with DJ Hipp-E, and Saturday @ Samana with the Smalltown Dj's. There’s no need to wake up early Saturday morning to ride, so you might as well help us have a good time Friday night.

We want all of you to start the season off right with a couple of great parties from your local entertainment information source. Come join us for these awesome parties and don't forget to get there early as the events at Samana will sell out.
The Vail Valley Concierge Guild will be holding it's Winter Guild Meeting on Dec. 4th at The Lion Square Lodge. If you work front desk, reservations, property management or concierge in the Valley you must attend this event! The event starts at 8am with a delicious buffet breakfast and ends with a lunch at Mezzaluna around 12 noon.
Finally, on Wednesday Dec. 5th, Beaver Creek will be holding its annual Guest Services Review Breakfast at the Vilar Center. This event runs from 8-10:30am with breakfast being served from 8-8:45. Don't miss this informative session for all what's hot & happening in Beaver Creek this winter season. Vendors & activity people will be in attendance. Great door prizes and free food.
