5th Annual Slush Huck returns to Crested Butte March 29th and 30th

Crested Butte Mountain Resort's (CBMR) 5th Annual Slush Huck, the final event of the Profurious Park 'N Pipe Series, takes place on March 29 and 30, 2008. The two-day event, which is sponsored by DC Shoes, features Superpipe and Slopestyle competitions as well as Pond Skimming. The Slush Huck promises to be Crested Butte's most exciting and entertaining event of the season and the biggest Profurious competition with spectacular prizes.

The Profurious Park 'N Pipe series began a New Year's Eve Rail Jam, followed by the Superpipe event on February 3, 2008 in the DC Superpipe and another slopestyle competition on March 2, 2008.

The series has five competitive divisions for skiers and riders, men and women: ages 10 and under, 11 to 14, 15 to 17, 18 and over, and an Open class. Skiers and riders will compete in two rounds with no elimination round and will be judged on the following criteria: difficulty, amplitude, style and overall impression through a cumulative point system.

A big thanks goes out to our Profurious Park 'N Pipe and Slush Huck sponsors: Coca-Cola, Gore-tex , Guaranteed to Keep You Dry, Colorado Boarder , Colorado Freeskier and Smith Optics.

The entry fee is $45 for one event or $70 for two and Pond Skimming is $20 (unless you enter both events in the Slush Huck then the entry is free). The first 100 entrants will receive a free jersey. For more information visit skicb.com/Profurious or call (970) 349-2217.
