Snowmass Village, CO - For 27 years, this festival has been an immense family favorite in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond. Snowmass is pleased to keep everything but the evening Cabaret (tickets under $10) absolutely free.

"It's a huge, affordable, family-oriented weekend," says event organizer Doc
Eason, who has run the festival for 27 years and won Hollywood's prestigious
Academy of Magical Arts' first ever Bar Magician award. "And when I say
family, I don't mean there's only a bunch of clowns running around for
little kiddies. These are national multi-level entertainers and performances
that will appeal to the biggest and littlest kid in every family. It's
outstanding family entertainment in a beautiful resort at a great time of
year to head to the mountains."

The festival takes place on the Snowmass Village Mall and Fanny Hill and is
comprised of an outdoor movie (Bridge to Terabithia) Friday night, a Magical
Dine-Around in local restaurants and magic Cabaret on Saturday night, and
back-to-back daytime performances on Friday afternoon and Saturday with a
national roster of performers offering storytelling, magic and puppet shows,
street entertainers, puppet making & juggling workshops, musicians, mimes,
stage shows, and interactive fun.

Lodging rates start as low as $90/night, and additional free activities can
include a free concert with the Dirty Heads on Saturday night, free guided
nature hikes and walks, free disc golf, hiking, mountain biking, and
watching the state's best downhill mountain bikers compete in
gravity-defying races at the new Mountain States Cup Series' Snowmass G3
competition. The Snowmass Recreation Center offers the unique chance to
relax in one of its 4 saltwater pools, zip down the slide, or play in
waterfalls and water features.
